Faculty adviser: David Chester, Ph.D.
I graduated from George Mason University in the spring of 2013 with a bachelor's degree in psychology and entered VCU's social psychology program in fall 2015. My research interests include mindfulness training and its impact on healthy relationship functioning. My main current interests are to better understand how mindfulness training can enhance relationship satisfaction in couples suffering from psychopathology (such as anxiety and depression), as well as to better understand the neural mechanisms involved in mindfulness mediation and its impact on relationship outcomes.
